Figure 2 : a : Axial T1-weighted image of the left thigh in a 19-yearold man who presented with symptoms of approximately 1-year duration, reveals a well-defi ned lesion located within the Gracilis muscle. It shows heterogenous signal intensity with foci of hyper-, hypo-, and isointensity. Associated investing fascia is thickened. The lesion measures 2 × 1 cm approximately. Figure 2 : b : Axial T2-weighted image of the same patient shows that the lesion is predominantly hyperintense; however, there are only a few hypointense and isointense foci within. The lesion was diagnosed as a hamartoma on histopathology with lipomatous, angiomatous, and osseous component.
